Killing the Clown is an addition to the series of paintings I'm building on censorship and other negative consequences of living with massive government. This is not intended to speak about Biden directly or any specific policies; rather, Biden is a stand-in for the State, and Joe Rogan, as clown/jester, represents speech and reason. Historically, it was the court jester who was the only one able to criticize the king with impunity, with the purpose of maintaining his humility.
