Matthew B. King is an emerging artist from central Kentucky. His focus is in drawing and painting, wherein he represents humanity in all its beauty and complexity as faithfully as possible. King is most influenced by history's great masters such as Leonardo and Caravaggio. The modern masters, Maria Kreyn and Cesar Santos as well as the proponents of the Atelier school, which adheres to the traditional methods of classical art, provide so much inspiration to paint, learn, and continuously grow as an artist.
